Make Your Own Home-Made 'Melon Moisturiser' To Hydrate Your Skin......

With it's high water content, melon moves through the body at a great speed, cleansing and rehydrating the system. A slice of melon is a fantastic diet food and is particularly good at combating bloating and puffiness.
Melon also contains potassium which can lower high blood pressure and bad LDL cholesterol. Cantaloupe melons are very high in vitamin C and beta-carotene, both of which are naturally anti-aging and aid cell repair and growth, as well as supporting the immune and circulatory systems.

Secret Recipe For Melon Moisturiser

1/4 fresh melon, peeled and deseeded
piece of muslin
1/2 lemon
1 tbsp olive oil

  • Blitz the melon only in a blender then filter the juice through the muslin.
  • Squeeze the lemon to extract 1 tsp of juice.
  • Mix the melon juice, lemon juice and olive oil in a container.
  • Cover and store in the fridge.
  • Apply twice daily to the face and neck with cotton wool.
  • Keep in the fridge for up to 2 days.

Incidental Exercise Is One Of My Secrets To Keeping In Shape

What is Incidental Exerise?
It is the key to weight loss and improving fitness levels. What did people do years ago when there were no cars, no TV, no elevators and yet they were slimmer then us today.
Incidental exercise are movements you purposely chose to take throughout your day that will keep you healthy and fit, for example, walking to work rather than taking the car.

These are 8 Incidental Exercises That You Could Easily Add Into Your Daily Routine:

 Always Take the stairs
Whenever possible always choose taking the stairs rather than the lift or escalators.

Walk or bike it to work
Instead of travelling by car walk or bike it to work......it will save you money and keep you healthy. If you have to use public transport when travelling to or from work get off one or two stops or stations early and walk the rest.

Walk at lunch
Don't spend your lunch breaks at your desk or in the canteen/cafe sitting around, have a quick bite to eat and then head out for a 20 – 30 minute walk on your own or try get some friends out with you....im sure they would be delighted! This will get the heart racing, the calories burning, it will prevent you from eating junk and will distress you and make you feel refreshed for the rest of the day........Try it!

Walk to the local shops
Instead of jumping in your car to grab something you need in the shop why not take a little walk and enjoy the fresh air while you are doing it.

Cut down on television
Personally, I hardly ever watch TV infact I never watch it unless there is something I really want to see, I just have no time for watching TV. It's terrible today people spend their evenings flicking through stations, such a waste of life! I would rather go for a walk, go for a game of tennis, go to the gym, call over to a friend or do something active. While watching TV you could bring a piece of exercise equipment out in front of the TV. eg. Swiss ball, kettlebells.

Speaking on mobile phone
When speaking on your mobile or cordless phone at home, pace around or do some things around the house during the phone call.

Enhance your posture
Instead of sitting on the standard desk chair at home or work try using a stool and be conscious of sitting upright, shoulders back. You may use a fit ball on a regular basis this will improve your posture, core stability, balance and increase your calorie burn throughout the day. Start pilates or strength training to improve your posture.

Work outdoors
Why not mow the lawn, hoover up the fallen leaves, weed your garden? Wash and hoover your car out regularly, you will feel good keeping everything clean. Instead of putting them off, get out there and get stuck in.

Why not be creative and make the food fun by using crafts supplies, fun toothpicks, cookie cutters, cloth napkin, flowers, a note or picture from you, and stickers to make lunch feel interesting, fun, and full of love.
Cut food into different shapes and sizes with a cookie cutter, the extra few seconds to do this is worth it. Kiddies love food in small quantities and it makes it easier for them to eat it….so make them mini or buy them mini
Kids love finger food and love to be able to dip their food into sauces so why not make some healthy dips they can dip there veggies, meat/fish fingers, or cheeses into!
Some yummy dips include salsa of all kinds (mango, pineapple, tomato), hummus, guacamole, nut spreads (if allowed).

All you do is chop up some fresh fruit….. strawberries, lemons and limes, etc and add to a pitcher/sealed bottle of either sparkling or still water along with some herbs finely chopped. Put in the fridge to chill. Discard after three days, or when it gets funky.
My favourite Fresh Fruits to use for fruit water: Strawberries, cucumber, watermelon, peaches, lemons, limes and oranges.
My favourite Fresh Herbs to use for fruit water: Basil, mint, and lemon balm.
Add some xylitol to sweeten if desired.

With our hectic lifestyles today…. working, dropping and picking kids to and from school and on top of all that trying to make lunches!!! How can we reduce the stress of all this???
Create a healthy lunch plan for the week and have all of those items pre bought.
Pre-chop fruits and vegetables at the start of the week.
Place food portions for meals in sealed sandwich bags or containers for example: chopped  fruits, vegetable sticks, cheese portions.
Use any left-over’s from the night before, for example, chicken pieces, salmon  pieces
Make lunch while you are making another meal, like breakfast in the morning or dinner the night before.

Tuna Improves Dry Skin And Is Thought To Be The Key Food In The Reduction Of Cellulite!

A member of the mackerel family, tuna is rich in healthy oils and immunity-boosting minerals.
Tuna contains vitamin E and selenium, which are needed for the production of disease-fighting antibodies, and many B vitamins, which enhance energy. Like oily fish, it has high levels of omega-3 fatty acids, a family of essential fatty acids, a family of essential fatty acids that can help prevent heart disease, cancer and depression. The omega-3s stimulates production of a hormone called leptin that controls the appetite.
Tips: Always choose fresh rather than canned tuna because it loses it's omega-3 fatty acids during the canning process but it is still good diet food - just make sure it has no added oil, salt or other undesirable additives.
